Why I Match my Presentations
I match my presentations because I love it and honestly because I can. My dressing up to match my presentation has not always been well received, so I will explain my personal reasoning.
I love to match my presentations because I feel that contrasting them would take away from my projects. I put all of myself in every project and so I feel a strong connection to all of them.
When I started doing this my sophomore year of college I say it was an accident, but I think subconsciously I was drawn to it so I would not clash with my presentation.
I still remember the first time it happened like it was yesterday. I was presenting my second project for my illustration class and it was a men's wear project. The project's color scheme was maroon, navy, and olive green. I presented in an olive green sweater with ruffle sleeves and a navy blue skirt.
I've coordinated with my outfits several times, but here are just a few of the ones that got documented.

Sophomore Spring. Sierra Juliet Project. This project was inspired by my love for the coast guard, so I wore my anchor dress and put my coast guard pin with it.
Junior Fall. Sustainable Toddler Wear. This project was made from a men's extra large dress shirt and turned into a jumpsuit. I wore a coordinating blue color sweater.
Junior Spring. Christmas Dresses. This is my favorite project, they are children's ruffle jumpers. I wore just a red top and red shoes to bring a pop of color in.
Junior Spring. La Peinture. This project was made from one of Gigi's paintings and I absolutely love it. I wore pink pants to match the pinks and my jacket ties in the ruffles.
