Last Minute Halloween Costumes

Halloween always seems to creep up on me and I never know what to wear. If you find yourself in the same situation here are a few easy costumes, some of which you might even have hanging in the back of your closet.

Cowgirl or Farmer

This costume is very easy, and you likely have most of the pieces in your closet. All you need is a plaid button down, jeans or shorts, cowboys boots, and a cowboy hat is optional.

Angel/Devil

If you are looking for a matching costume with your friend or significant other angel and devil is always an easy way to go. For an Angel all you need is a white dress, wings, some glitter, and a halo if you want; you could even wear white jeans and a flowy top on a chilly night. For a devil all you need is a red dress and some horns; you can also wear red pants and a red top if you'd like.

Boxer

All You need for a boxer is a silk robe, sports bra, shorts, and some drank make up for fake bruises. If you want to go all out go for two french braids, a mouth guard, and some boxing gloves.

Pumpkin

You can take pumpkin very literally and get a large pumpkin suit, or you can just use a large orange t-shirt or t-shirt dress and add a jack o lantern face to it.

Ghost

This costume is very similar to the pumpkin, all you need is a large white t-shirt or a t-shirt dress. You simply have to draw the face of a ghost on it, it can be a friendly or scary as you want.

Serena and Blair

Gossip Girl costumes will never get old. The easiest way to rock this is by wearing something similar to their Constance high school uniforms. A simple plaid skirt, white blouse, and heels will do the trick. After that all you need is that Blair and Serena bestie attitude.

A mouse

Really just about any animal will do the trick. All you need is solid colored leggings, a matching t-shirt, and some ears. Pro tip: if you don't feel like buying ears wear space buns. to complete the look just add some whiskers with makeup!

Football Player

for this costume, all you need is a football jersey, white pants, and add some eye black with eyeliner. To make this costume funny you can always pick a terrible team and wear a sign around your neck that says will play football for food.

Military/Spy

This was my Halloween costume last year! All I wore was camo leggings, an army green crop top and I bought a bullet belt for a few dollars at Walmart. No one even questioned it and I was comfortable all night.

Lizzie Maguire

This may seem a little far-fetched, but I think it is a fun idea. All you have to do is pick a bitmoji outfit you like and have a similar real outfit too. Print out your favorite bitmoji pose and keep them with you all night. Plus it makes for cute photo ops. (Fun fact: I change my bitmojis outfit almost every day to match my outfit but we can talk about that issue another day)

A robber

All you need is a simple black and white striped shirt, black leggings, a black mask and a brown bag with a money sign written on it. This costume also happens to be a great couples costume!

Minion

One of the big trends I noticed this summer was jean overalls; if you have a pair bring them back out. For this costume, all you need is jean overalls and a yellow shirt. You can add some optional glasses if you want!
