College is always filled with stress no matter where you go and what you major in, that includes getting your "Mrs." There are just different levels of stress everyone goes through and more importantly the way you deal with that stress-or how it deals with you- is the most important piece to the puzzle.
Some of you have noticed I took a little time off the blog of late, that doesn't mean I love it any less, I simply didn't have time for it no matter how hard I tried. I figure now that the semester {from hell} is officially over I should give you the update on my life.
This semester has been harder than any other semester thus far. The hardest thing about this semester wasn't the work-though trust me it was awful-it's my skin. Since October my skin has constantly pained me, because somehow my eczema became unbearable. Between barely being able to sleep because I'm in so much pain, waking up crying or with blood in my nail because I scratched in my sleep, only being able to wear pants five times since then because my eczema on my legs was so bad, and so much more. I've gone to nearly 47 Doctors appointments (with five different doctors), had skin biopsies, had allergen patches on my back for 3 days, taken over 10 different medicines and now I'm stuck giving shots. And yet no one had actually found out what is wrong and worse yet something to give me any relief. (don't worry I won't share any pictures)
Since October the only real answer I have gotten is that my skin can flare up due to stress, weather change, allergies, hormone changes, and sleep patterns. Sooooooo basically my skin is going to be a hinderance forever. I'm just kidding, hopefully someone can help me soon. I will be writing a little bit more extensive blog about how this trying experience affected every aspect of my life.
A lot of amazing things have come out of this semester and I am so thankful for it, but it has certainly been painful and has come with a lot of heartache. Including today being the last day of school, and despite my best efforts I still do not have an internship. (If you know anyone that needs a design intern let me know). I do have an interview Tuesday so fingers crossed!
There are a lot of trying and stressful things that happened this semester, but I chose to focus on the good and the growth I have made in the past six months! I promise I will not abandon the blog for two months again, I've missed it! Here are a few of my favorite moments this semester!
