Finding a mentor in your field is incredibly important to your success. The point of finding a mentor is to be able to follow their path to success and learn from the mistakes they have already made rather than make those mistakes again.
A mentor does not need to have the exact same views in every aspect of their life as you. For this reason, you can have multiple mentors for each aspect of your life. It is important to get to know your mentor to make sure you are a right fit for each other. I made this lie of 30 questions to ask your mentor when interviewing them for information. I hope this helps you to find your ideal mentor! (Wish me luck as I go to talk to a new potential mentor today :))
