Make 2018 Your Year

Here we are a week into 2018, the gyms are starting to empty out again and money is being spent more frivolously again. So, this year instead of making resolutions that we'll no doubt forget about long before the next year rolls around we choose to make goals.

First, What is a goal? A goal is SMART..S-pecific,

M-easurable, A-chieable, R-elevant, and T-imely. Goals should be clear and easy to follow, you should also only strive for a few at a time. The fewer goals you have set for yourself to achieve the easier it is to indeed achieve them.

A week into this new year I challenge you to achieve just one goal, whether it be big or small achieve it and celebrate in your victory.

My biggest goal is to find strength, peace, and health in my mind, body and soul. This year, therefore, I am choosing to write this blog not only to share my experiences in an attempt to spread perhaps a little cheer and positivity; but in a hope that I help just one of you reading this.

I think that for many of us there are years that stood out as absolutely fantastically wonderful and magical and then there's those other years where we may as well be staring is "_____ horrible, terrible no-good very bad [year]". Everything isn't always rainbows and {Suzey} sunshine but more often than not you can find some sort or silver lining. If one day you find yourself struggling to find that silver lining reach out, I promise someone cares and shoot, if they don't I'm a fantastic listener.

This year I have now set a few challenges before you, and I have full confidence that you can achieve them. Why? Because you are fearfully and WONDERFULLY made.

Challenge 1: Set SMART Goals

Challenge 2: Find the silver lining

Challenge 3: (most important by far) Be happy

Until next time lovelies...sending {Suzey} Sunshine your way
