Finals week or weeks as it so often becomes is one of the most stressful times of the school year. Your grade can drop or rise within seconds and the only thing you can do is ace the final.
In fashion, we not only have final exams, but we also have final projects as well. Typically a full garment, but it depends on the class. Finals week has turned into finals weeks for my classmates and me.
Here are my personal remedies to the stress of finals week and how to study better:
Just start studying - stop putting it off like I know you want to
Breatheeeeeeeeee - the best you can do is the best you can do and be okay with that, be proud of that
Get plenty of rest - I know all nighters seem worth it but past a certain point there is only so much you can do
Drink plenty of water and do not forget to eat
Exercising is very important because an active body helps and active mind
Manage your time as best you possibly can
Make your study guides in advance - well if your teachers allow it
Study with friends and exchange ideas - it's a great way to understand something new
Pretend to teach a topic to someone else - this is also a great way to test your knowledge
Study things not on the study guide - there's a good chance it could be on the exam
Take breaks - this does not mean go from one subject to another as a break, get up and do something even if it's just 20 jumping jacks
Quiz yourself based on the style of the exam
Use old tests as study resources
Re-write your notes in a way that makes sense to you
Color code things
Reward yourself when you accomplish something on the to-do list
Create as many silly songs and mnemonic devices as you need

Summarize the chapters of you notes
