This week was jam packed full of fun and, as always, some pretty interesting adventures let me tell you.
This week we went on three coffee adventures, and I tried to be a coffee connoisseur.
Our first stop was the Starbucks Reserve or Roasterie *fun fact there are only 5 in the world!* I got a Cold Brew Malt, which was the best thing I had ever tasted and Hope got Hazelnut Bianca Latte, which she loved.
Then, we went to Cafe Grumpy. I loved this cafe, not only was the coffee cute but so was the ambiance. We both got Honey Oat Lattes.
Last stop this week was Culture Cafe or Culture 36, Maddie got to tag along this time! I got the Maple Iced Latte, so I was proud of myself for trying something new. Unfortunately, we were a little less than impressed with this cafe, the coffee was not quite strong enough for our tired souls.
A fan favorite! Where did we eat this week?!
We went to Turntable for lunch, which had fantastic grilled chicken buttttt the service was slower than molasses. We went to Refinery Rooftop for the view, which was absolutely WORTH IT!
A fun make your own salad place we tried this week was Chopt, highly recommend and even better it wont break your bank.
Our go to dinner spot when were feeling lazy is NY Pizza Suprema because it is only a block away from FIT, but I'm not upset about it. Probably some of my favorite pizza in the city.
When in SOHO go to Fanelli Cafe for an Irish Pub feel with great bison burgers.
The restaurant we were most excited to try this week was Pietro Nolita. While the pink cafe is every girls dream the fact that you can't really get a great picture inside is frustrating, and the service was rude. Bless their Hearts!
Work this week was a little less crazy, I think that might be because I have started to get used to the fast paced environment. It doesn't seem real that my internship is halfway over already. This week was Hope and my last week to walk to work together because her company, Adam Lippes is moving buildings. I am so excited for her to move and get a new view of the city, but I'll miss having her 10 minutes away. It's okay though, we were running out of coffee and lunch spots to try! This week at Babyfair my jobs mainly included measuring new samples that came in, fluffing the new flush samples that came in and creating boards and coordinating swatches for buyers.
What did we do for fun this Week?
As always, we watched the bachelor-spoiler alert no one likes Luke P. We shopped a little bit at our new favorite store De Janiero, so cheap it's amazing. We walked around China Town and found some of the cutest little stores with handmade New York gifts. Hope learned how to ride the subway to her new office. We found an amazing cookie place called Gooey on the Inside. Maddie, Hope and I sat on the steps outside the store and it felt like a total New York moment. We walked around SOHO, and I of course had to stop by Kate Spade. Hope's mom came to visit this weekend, so we also wen to Magnolia Bakery, fantastic cake let me tell you. My favorite fun thing we did this week was go to the Color Factory!*fun fact hope lost her phone in the ball pit for 45 minutes* It was the most fun little museum and it made it even better than I got to spend it with the two sweetest friends. So thankful for New York helping to foster and grow these beautiful friendships.
