19 Things to do in Quarantine

I think we can all agree quarantine is not how we wanted to spend the spring of 2020, but here we are; so let's make the most of it. Take this time to do the things you need to for yourself, whether that be relaxing and taking a bath or reading a book or anything in between. If you get stuck during this time of uncertainty here are a few of my suggestions on how to pass the time.

1. Start a new TV series, if you need any ideas here is a whole list of suggestions:

2. Start a new book, or finish one you've been trying to read for along time.

3. Learn a new recipe.

4. Spend quality time with your family, maybe play a board game or watch a movie.

5. Have an at-home "spa day". Take a bath, do a facemask, hair mask, feet mask, any kind of mask you want.

6. Start your own at-home workouts, or join an online workout group.

7. Learn new makeup tricks - check out my friend Sunshine's Sound. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCe99u-ZvTr9E344aDsT9_6A

8. Clean out closets and drawers of clothes, try to get rid of excess clutter.

9. Do something artistic: painting, drawing, a fun craft you can find on Pinterest.

10. Have a picnic outside, this could even be in your yard, but be outside and enjoy the sunshine.

11. Take time for yourself to learn how to meditate, try focusing on your breathing.

12. Unfortunately, if you're a student you're probably still going to need to finish all those online classes and assignments.

13. Drink wine and try to breathe Karen.

14. Finish all the things on your to-do list you've been wanting to do.

15. If you have an instrument you've been meaning to learn, try to learn. Youtube has great tutorials.

16. Plan a trip for once this is all over, have something to look forward to!

17. Write your friends letters and take the time to check up on them, this time of social distancing is harder on some of us than others.

18. Catch up on all the sleep you've been missing out on.

19. Stay safe and healthy.

I hope during this time you all learn a little bit more about yourselves and what you have the power of accomplishing. Stay safe and continue to check on the people you love.

So, here's to always remembering to keep one foot in front of the other, and your heels as high as your standards...xoxo Suzanna Rita
